Created in less than 3 hours for Paradise Blitz #2 - "Pairs".
This is my first cryptic crossword puzzle. I have not solved very many, but as a crossword enjoyed, I was intrigued by them ever since I solved my first cryptic in the 2021 Confounding Calendar.

I am not sure if I have correct the cryptic part of 4a (by my reasoning “travel” is superfluous).
Thank you! I am planning to make more as well. Your second comment is correct - making this puzzle I learned a lot about the rules of cryptic hints and hope to improve with my next puzzle.
